Greetings!

I hope this finds you fantastic!

I just walked downtown for a local festival called Blast from the Past. It was odd. Street fair vendors, maybe two handcrafted item booths, the rest was imported cheap gadgets for sale. There were NO food vendors, which usually there are tons of them. There was a band playing. There were very few people around the entire event.

Its never been such poor quality before. Is this simply a reflection of the economy I’m seeing at a local level? There is a vintage car show tomorrow, so maybe it’ll change a bit in light of that. But it felt so strange.

My boyfriend is out of state until next week and has been gone for two weeks, so I’m really missing him. Guess it gives me more time for work and reading.

Positive affirmation for the week: I offer myself rest and relaxation.

I watched this movie this week and really enjoyed it. Rich Mullens was one of the earliest Christian contemporary music artists back in the 80’s. I remember listening to his music back then.

This is a biography of his life story. It can also be streamed on Amazon prime.

Here are a couple of my articles on Medium you might want to check out:

Time for sunscreen

I hate sunscreen on my face. It stings, burns, and feels dry and sticky. If I sweat at all, it burns my eyes and is filled with chemicals I don’t want.

So, I ordered this and just put it on for the first time today. We’ll see how it goes. It's a mineral sunscreen, supposed to not burn your eyes, and it has a light pigment (almost too dark for me, at the highest shade but doable). We’ll see how it goes…..

I’m also trying another product too to help reduce sun spots / age spots. I’ll probably write an article after I see how these perform.

Have an amazing week.

See you next week!
