Cozy Snippets Mini Moments Newsletter Val Garner - Important Changes

Greetings my Medium Friends,

I need to make some changes to the newsletter that you signed up for over at Medium (thank you!).

I have been using Beehive, but I am going to switch over to Substack and it will be free. I will be offering an optional paid subscription with some premium content for any who wish to upgrade to support my work, but no obligation to do so. I’m still figuring all of this out, researching, and setting things up.

I will still be posting on Medium, but less frequently. For those who know a bit about my circumstances, my writing needs to pay my bills and I’m in precarious financial circumstances (I live in a modern-day boarding house I wrote about).

With all the glitches and changes happening on Medium I have found my income decreasing significantly there. While I love the platform and have made so many new online friends (you!) that I value, I cannot go backwards financially for my survival. Rent and bills still need to be paid, you know?

I know I’m not alone in this and for many people, times are financially very challenging right now. Due to this, I will be putting my writing efforts into building a Substack newsletter/presence.

It will be called Nurturing Life - writing about life, home, family, healthy living, gardens, food, books, and nature by this lady who loves life and desires to create a soft landing place in life's challenges.

I have added you to receive it there (no cost) but feel free to unsubscribe if you choose to do so (I hope not tho!). My writing will be in the same style and vibe as it was on Medium.

At first, I’ll be posting my already written content from Medium over there, likely twice a week until I’ve got everything migrated over. Many of these writings you may not have read, and I’ll be weaving new content into the mix as well. Quite a process figuring it all out and designing branding.

This will be my last post from Beehive as Cozy Snippets. The next you hear from me will be as Nurturing Life at Substack once I get things sorted out.
